Elžbieta Tamulionytė
a trip to Brazil
Land
a body has never been
yet
eyes have seen
its azul heat
bathed in glaring rhythms
boarded by ears
one smitten mind
landed the plane
unreturned love
carries her here
[to E.B.]
we didn’t come
to the same place
at the Louvre
forgiven ceilings
if they were
to fall on me
– – better be
fall on the selfie sea
mere loss
of all vanity
but
sheer sorrow
for the ceilings
and
extra work
arranging its
funeral evenings
Spain’s not letting go
Minds falling mad
intentionally getting lost
blurry taste of
– sweet –
– soft –
side to side
for million nights
in between one sunset
and a sunrise
Land
a body has never been
yet
eyes have seen
its azul heat
bathed in glaring rhythms
boarded by ears
one smitten mind
landed the plane
unreturned love
carries her here
[to E.B.]

Minds falling mad
intentionally getting lost
blurry taste of
– sweet –
– soft –
side to side
for million nights
in between one sunset
and a sunrise
surrounded
green reflection
pine tress under water
throw shade
on the Land of rain
feeling
Pinned
at
rest
in
sun
wheresoever
if only
as loud as a
cautious philosophy
memorized the ways of
conditioned compliance
listened where it turns
into less darker
but that is impossible
convincing trajectories
lacking a parallel
